Secure mobile-number verification
ELMAHDY MED is the requested transactional Sender ID of EL MAHDY MEDICAL SUPPLIES, the company operating the CityCar digital service. It is used only to deliver one-time verification passwords to customers registering their Egyptian mobile numbers.
OTP specification
The verification code contains 6 digits, expires after a short period, and is sent only after the customer submits a mobile number during registration. The code must never be shared with another person.

How a customer receives the SMS
These are the exact steps presented to a new CityCar customer when SMS verification is enabled.
Open CityCar
The customer opens the published CityCar service and selects “Create account”.
Enter mobile number
The customer enters a valid Egyptian mobile number and completes the required registration details.
Receive the SMS
A single transactional SMS is sent from ELMAHDY MED containing the 6-digit verification code.
Verify the account
The customer enters the code in the dedicated OTP screen. Verification starts automatically after all six digits are entered.
Sample message: “Your CityCar verification code is 123456. Do not share this code with anyone.”
Resend protection: The resend action is temporarily locked after each request to prevent repeated messages and abuse.

PRIVACY AND CONSENT
Verification messages only
ELMAHDY MED is requested for OTP approval only, not promotional campaigns. A message is triggered only by the customer’s registration or resend action. Phone numbers are processed according to the published CityCar privacy policy.
